ప్రభువగు యెహోవాయే నా బలము.
ఓర్చుకో అనేది ఆయన జీవిత నినాదం. ఎటువంటి పరిస్థితులు ఎదురైనా ఎందరు అవమానించిన ఓర్చుకుందాము – దేవుడే చూసుకుంటాడు అనేదే ఆయన విశ్వాస రహస్యము. దేవునితో పెనుగులాడడం తప్ప మనుషులతో పోట్లాటకు దిగడం తెలియని నిరాడంబరమైన సేవకుడు రెవరెండ్ గద్దల ఇమ్మానుయేలు రాజు గారు.

ఫిలిప్పీ 4:11. నేనేస్థితిలో ఉన్ననూ ఆ స్థితిలో సంతృప్తి కలిగియుండ నేర్చుకొనియున్నాను, అనే వాక్యములను తన జీవితములో నెరవేర్చుకున్న సేవకుడు. 2020 ఆగస్టు 13వ తేదీన బాపట్లలో ప్రభువు నందు నిద్రించినారు (కరోనాకు గురియై హార్ట్ ఎటాక్తో గుంటూరు గవర్నమెంట్ హాస్పటలు నందు).
ప్రకాశం జిల్లా రామాయపట్నంలో శ్రీ గద్దల. సొలొమోను, శ్రీమతి కాంతమ్మగార్లకు ఏడవ సంతానముగా 1960 సెప్టెంబర్ 2వ తేదీన జన్మించారు . 1960-69 రామాయపట్నంలో ప్రాథమిక విద్యను,1969-72 రాజమండ్రి,1972-93 వరకు హైదరాబాదులో ఉండి బి.కామ్. డిగ్రీని పూర్తి చేసినారు. హైదరాబాదులోని వేదాంత కళాశాలయైన ఆంధ్ర క్రిస్టియన్ థియోలాజికల్ కాలేజి నందు వేదాంత విద్యను అభ్యసించి బి. డి. పట్టభద్రులయ్యారు.
డెక్కన్ బాప్టిస్ట్ తల్లి సంఘమైన సెంటినరీ బాప్టిస్ట్ సంఘము, సికింద్రాబాదులో సండేస్కూలు, యూత్ కార్యక్రమములలో చురుకుగా పాల్గొనేవారు. 1988 T. E. L. (Training evangilical leadership) staff Evangelist and pastor గా, 1990 Baptist Church Hyderabad – Hospital Chaplain and incharge Pastor Out Reach Ministry సేవలలో కొనసాగినారు. వారి తండ్రిగారి యొక్క వృద్ధాప్య కారణముగా తండ్రి గారి కొరకు హైదరాబాదులోనే ఉంటూ దేవుని సేవలో కొనసాగినారు.
తండ్రిగారైన రెవరెండ్ గద్దల సొలొమోను గారి గురించి కొన్ని విషయములు.
1934-37 లో దేవుని సేవకు సమర్పించుకొని దొనకొండ పొల సమాజములో వార్డెన్ గా, అధ్యాపకునిగా, అభిషిక్తునిగా ఆయన తన సేవ ప్రారంభించారు. 1958 మద్రాసుపట్టణంలోని తెలుగు బాప్టిస్ట్ సంఘమునకు కాపరిగా మరియు హైదరాబాదులోని ఆంధ్ర క్రైస్తవ దైవ జ్ఞాన కళాశాలలో పాత నిబంధన ప్రొఫెసర్ గా అమోఘమైన సేవ చేశారు.1976-86 వరకు సికింద్రాబాద్ సెంటినరీ బాప్టిస్ట్ సంఘానికి కాపరిగా ఆయన చేసిన సేవ చిరస్మరణీయమైనది. ఆ సేవా కాలములో సమావేశానికి అధ్యక్షులుగా మరియు జనరల్ కౌన్సిల్ నకు పీఠాధిపతులుగా సేవ చేశారు.
పాతనిబంధనలోని యెషయా, హోషెయాలపై అనేక వ్యాఖ్యానాలతో పాటు ‘భాధ యొక్క భావ చిత్రణ’ అను గ్రంథమును కూడా వ్రాశారు. వీరికి ముగ్గురు కుమారులు, ఐదుగురు కుమార్తెలు ఉన్నారు. వీరి ఏడవ సంతానమే రెవరెండ్. గద్దల. ఇమ్మానుయేలు రాజు గారు. వీరి తండ్రి గారి యొద్ద నుండి వీరికి అలవడిన లక్షణములు ఏవనగా, తెల్లవారు జామున నాలుగు గంటలకు నిద్ర లేవడం, దేవుని సన్నిధిలో మోకాళ్ల ప్రార్థనలో గడపటం, కుటుంబప్రార్ధన, సమయపాలన, క్రమశిక్షణ, దశమభాగము తీయుట, దేవుని సేవలో ఎన్ని అడ్డంకులు వచ్చినా ముందుకు సాగి పోవడం-ఇవన్నీ కూడా ఆయన ప్రభుసన్నిధికి చేరే పర్యంతము వరకు కొనసాగించినారు.
వీరి తండ్రిగారైన రెవరెండ్. గద్దల. సొలొమోను గారు 1993 ఫిబ్రవరి 6వ తేదీన ప్రభువు నందు నిద్రించిన తరువాత 1993 డిసెంబరు మాసములో చారిత్రాత్మకమైన బాపట్ల సెంటినరీ బాప్టిస్ట్ సీయోను సంఘమునకు, సంఘ కాపరిగా వచ్చి, సంఘము చూపించిన ప్రేమ ఆదరాభిమానాలతో దాదాపు 27 సంవత్సరములు దేవుని పరిచర్యలో సుదీర్ఘమైన సేవలు సంఘానికి అందించగలిగారు. వీరి ప్రసంగ శైలి గమనించినచో ఒక వాక్య భాగమును తీసికొని దానికి అనుగుణముగా ఒకే ప్రాస ఉన్న పదాలను 3,4 అంశాలుగా వివరించేవారు. అందరికి అర్థమయ్యే రీతిలో వీరి వాక్య సందేశములు ఉండేవి. ఎన్ని కార్యక్రమములు ఉన్నా, ఆత్మల యెడల భారముతో విశ్వాసుల కొరకు ప్రతి శనివారము వాక్యమును సిద్దపడి ఆదివారమున ఆ వాక్యమును బోధించేవారు. ఆయన బోధలు అనేకులను సంఘానికి ఆకర్షింపచేశాయి. ఎంతోమందిని దేవునిలోనికి నడిపించి వారికి బాప్తిస్మములు ఇచ్చినారు. 223 వివాహములు జరిపించినారు. వారి తండ్రిగారైన రెవరెండ్.గద్దల సాల్మన్ గారు 1964లో వ్రాసినటువంటి “బాధ యొక్క భావ చిత్రణము” అనే పుస్తకమును తిరిగి ముద్రించి 2016, జనవరి 17వ తేదీన సంఘములో రెవరెండ్. సి.ఎల్. జాన్సన్ గారు, రెవరెండ్. కంచర్ల. ప్రభుదాసు గారు మరియు సంఘ పెద్దలచేతుల మీదుగా రిలీజ్ చేయించినారు. వారు వారి కుమార్తెలు సంఘానికి దాదాపు నాలుగు లక్షల రూపాయల ఆర్థిక సహాయము అందించినారు.
వీరికి భార్య. వివాహితులైన ఇద్దరు కుమార్తెలు మనుమడు, మనుమరాలు ఉన్నారు.
ఎంతోమంది సంఘ సభ్యుల హృదయాలలో కాపరిగా, తండ్రిగా, సహోదరునిగా, కుమారునిగా స్థానాన్ని సంపాదించుకున్నారు.
తాను బోధించేదే తన జీవిత విధానముగా ఉండాలని దేవుని సన్నిధిలో పోరాడి దేవుని చెంతకు చేరిన ధన్యజీవి-రెవరెండ్. గద్దల. ఇమ్మానుయేలు రాజు గారు.
"Endure"
The Lord is my Strength.
Endure is the motto of his life. No matter how many insults he endured under any circumstances – the secret of his faith is that God takes care of it. Rev. Gaddala Emmanuel Raju was a modest servant of the Lord who did not know how to fight with people but to fight with God.
Philippians 4: 5 “Let your gentle spirit be known to all”.
Philippians 4:11 “I have learned, in whatsoever state i am, there with be content” – A servant who has fulfilled in his life the words. As seen while being laid to rest in Bapatla on August 13, 2020.
Rev. Gaddala Emmanuel Raju was born on September 2, 1960 at Ramayapatnam, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, as the seventh child of Rev. Gaddala Solomon and Mrs. Kantamma. He did his Primary education in Ramayapatnam between 1960-69, 1969-72 in Rajahmundry and 1972-93 in Hyderabad. He completed his degree in B. Com., later pursued Bachelor of Divinity in Andhra Christian Theological College, Hyderabad.
He was an active participant in Sunday school and youth programs in Centenary Baptist Church, Secunderabad.
He served god as Staff Evangelist and pastor in T. E. L. (Training evangelical leadership) during 1988, Hospital Chaplain and in charge Pastor in Baptist Church Hyderabad during 1990, Outreach Ministry services continued. Due to the old age of his father, he stayed in Hyderabad for his father and continued in the service of God.
A few words about Rev. Gaddala Solomon, father of Rev. Gaddala Emmanuel Raju.
Dedicated to the service of God in 1934-37, he began his service as a warden, teacher, and anointed in the Donaconda farm community. In 1958, he served as pastor of the Telugu Baptist Church in Madras and as Professor of the Old Testament at the Andhra Christian Theological College in Hyderabad. His service as pastor of the Secunderabad Centenary Baptist Church from 1976-86 is memorable. During that time he served as President and Chairman of the General Council.
He also wrote a number of commentaries on Isaiah and Hosea in the Old Testament, as well as a book on the “concept of suffering”. They have three sons and five daughters. Their seventh child is Rev. Gaddala Emmanuel Raju. He owned his father’s habits including waking up at four o’clock in the morning, kneeling before God in prayer, family prayer, punctuality, discipline, tithing, and moving forward despite all obstacles – until he reaches the Lord.
On the advent of Rev. Gaddala Solomon’s call to glory on February 6, 1993, Rev. Gaddala Emmanuel Raju came to the historic Centenary Baptist Zion church, Bapatla in December 1993 as a pastor and was able to serve the community for almost 27 years with the loving kindness shown by the church in the service of God. Observing his sermons, he would take scripture to acronym the verses and expound on the words to syllable. His messages were in a way that everyone could understand. No matter how busy his calendar might be the burden of the Lord to prepare the Word for Church every week and preach the Word on Sunday has been steadfast. His teachings attracted many to Christ and Church. Many were led into God and were baptized and 223 marriages were performed. The Book “The concept of Suffering” by Rev. Gaddala Solomon was published by Rev. Gaddala Emmanuel Raju and released by Rev. C.L. Johnson, Rev. Kancharla Prabhudas and elders of the church. Rev. Gaddala Emmanuel Raju and his daughters contributed nearly four lakh rupees to the Centenary Baptist Zion Church, Bapatla for Church construction.
He’s blessed with wife Mrs. Thabitha Susanthi, and two daughters – married and two grandchildren.
His love and care as a Shepherd, Father, Brother and Son has earned a place in the hearts of the Church Members.
Rev. Gaddala Emmanuel Raju as he taught and fought in the presence of God to have GOD’s way of life is to be truly remembered as “The Blessed”.
